Use the Malawi operator domain directly or a saved trusted bookmark. A copied login page can look convincing while attempting to capture a phone number and PIN.
Normal login
Enter the registered phone number and PIN only on the official domain. Do not share an SMS code. MalawiPlays does not operate a login form and will never request account credentials.
Forgotten PIN
The official help centre currently instructs users to choose Forgot PIN, enter the registered number, request a verification code, enter the code and create a replacement PIN. If the registered SIM is lost or inactive, contact official support rather than repeatedly guessing.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm the Malawi domain and a stable connection.
- Remove accidental spaces from the number.
- Check that SMS messages are reaching the registered SIM.
- Avoid repeated PIN attempts that may trigger a security lock.
- Capture the exact error without exposing the PIN.
Protect the account
Lock the phone, do not save the PIN in a shared browser and review the account statement for activity you do not recognise. If a login succeeds after an unexpected recovery message, change the PIN and contact official support.
