Confirm that the balance is withdrawable, the destination wallet is correct and any current minimum, maximum or fee is understood.

Withdrawal sequence

  1. Review the account statement and withdrawable balance.
  2. Open the official withdrawal screen.
  3. Confirm the wallet linked to the account.
  4. Enter the amount once.
  5. Record the request ID and time.
  6. Monitor the operator status.
  7. Match the mobile-wallet receipt.

The operator may request identity verification. Use only its secure official channel and ensure account details match valid documents.

Understand deductions and charges

Any deduction should be visible in the account statement or transaction flow. A mobile-network charge may also apply when funds are delivered. Record gross return, each displayed deduction, withdrawal amount and final receipt separately. Do not assume a rate copied from another country applies in Malawi.

Delayed withdrawal

Determine whether the request is pending, approved, rejected or completed. If completed by the operator but absent from the wallet, keep both references. If pending, wait for the stated processing period and keep communication in one official support case.

Do not pay an unverified person to “release” a withdrawal, and never disclose a PIN or recovery code.
